Arizona Antelope Guides, unit 10

We put our scouting days to work quick on this hunt. We got it done early this year with two book bucks. After waiting 23 years for my own antelope tag in Arizona it only took 30 minutes into the hunt to pull the trigger on this heavy 84" antelope. Blake spotted the goats two miles away right at first light from our high point, we headed right to them as they were in a perfect stalking position. We ended up getting within 100 yards. After some camera issues I was able to finally take the shot at 200 yards. Blake was able to capture the full hunt with the one shot kill on film. After practicing long shots all summer, the short shot seemed like almost a crime but we will take it.

Kent Hall connected with this perfectly shaped 83" goat on the evening of opening day. John Adams of High Point Outfitters was the guide for Kent's hunt

The whole crew from L-R, myself, Kent Hall, John Adams and Blake Call with Kent's buck. A perfect end to opening day of the 2010 antelope hunt. We headed back to camp where mom and dad had banana cream pie and blue berry cobbler with ice cream waiting for us. It just doesn't get any better than that!
